Costume Contemporary Native Inspiration
This is derived from a preliminary study, designed to highlight the feminine touch of hospitality embedded in the Native American theme, much like the spirit of the Bison Club and the vibrant atmosphere of the Indian Summer Rodeo.
Still lacking in this simulation: a necklace and an optional belt accent, which would enhance the overall presentation reminiscent of the White Bison Experience.

Welcome — Get Your Name for the Night
Iedere gast van de Bison Club ontvangt een persoonlijke Totem Name Tag en een hartverwarmende Firewater Bison Club Cocktail. Eenmaal op je plaats, laat je je tafelgenoten — of jezelf — een totemnaam kiezen. Ook een Western naam is toegestaan, zoals 'Never Mistaken' of 'Smarter than Rain' (omdat je altijd een paraplu bij hebt), of 'Wild as the Storm', of 'As Good As It Gets'... kies maar.
OPGELET: we zijn ons ervan bewust dat er in de Kiowa-Comanche-alliantiecultuur geen totemnamen voorkwamen zoals dit doorgaans bekend is. Echter, binnen het kader van de Bison Club en de bredere Western-sfeer, houden we deze gimmick levendig. De avond is echter niet aangekondigd als een Kiowa-Comanche alliantie cultuurervaring, maar eerder als een gelegenheid om de ambiance van de Indian Summer Rodeo te vieren. Dit opent de deur voor verdere verdieping, waar de geïnteresseerde de nuance kan ontdekken.
Indien dit storend zou zijn, kan 'Western Naam' ook gekozen worden (zoals eerder vermeld), wat een scala aan mogelijkheden biedt, bijvoorbeeld geïnspireerd op figuren zoals Doc Holliday, Charlie Champagne of Buffalo Bill.

Sharing a Spirit Which Is so Meaningful to All of Us
Raison d’être — To Preserve What Matters.
From an early age, I felt a deep connection to Native American culture and its profound history. The past cannot be changed, but we need to learn from it—and this all begins with respect. Experiences like the White Bison Experience help deepen our understanding and appreciation of this vibrant culture.
From that understanding, I chose to present this theme in the most accessible way possible—even if that sometimes means adapting it through a Western lens—so that it can reach a broader audience. Inspiration begins with an accessible entry point, much like the Indian Summer Rodeo, which showcases the rich traditions of Native American heritage.
Within the richness of Native American culture, it rarely takes long for that first spark to grow into something deeper: an awareness that learns, understands, and does not forget. A realization that the injustice and irreversible harm of the past must never be repeated—and that cultures too often perceived as 'simple' can carry a wisdom that our so-called advanced society does not always manage to preserve, much like the community fostered by the Bison Club, which honors and celebrates these values.
